Since we're moving my Mom from rehab to a new memory care home, I'm thinking something quick like smash burgers or perhaps take-out.

For fine dining, worst day of the year to eat out is mothers day, followed by a combination of Father's day, Valentines Day, Mondays and any weekend of the year.

If you're going to do fast food it really doesn't matter.

    I'm going to BBQ.

@Fred19Flintstone - hope the new memory care facility provides great treatment and is close to home. Do you want pictures as the cooks progress so you can live vicariously with us again? Have a great Father’s day all.

Plan for now is to go to the in laws for a pool day, so unfortunately no egging. FIL wants to go to Miller’s Ale House for dinner which is fine by me.

Funny how Mother’s Day we went to the Columbia (fancy) and Father’s Day we want bar food. Simpler gender of the species I suppose.

Going to do some stuffed mushrooms and turtle eggs on the egg, and clean out all the frozen cooks that I made too much on previous cooks.
Still can’t just cook for two.

Oh man, VERY good bar food. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. Always a nice tap list and they have a lot of different options like pork ossobuco and pastas to wings and nachos (which are humongous).

Baby back ribs on the egg with no waiting! Why go out and stand in line waiting for a table even when you made reservations long in advance! Seems like many patrons at the popular restsurants think they have squatters right to sit at the table(s) long after they finished eating!

Triple time pay, I assume, or just bad luck when your name was drawn out of the bag?
