.....made a fresh bath of 00 dough, home made sauce....fresh maters, garlic, mushrooms, Vidalia onion and basil (from the herb garden. On the cheese front, mozzarella and topped off with grated Parmesan.

Stone has been heating up for about 30 min. Raised indirect with a secound tier to get the pie up in the dome.
On it goes.....

As I post....I see several other threads cooking pizza tonight. My apologies to the board....would have held it back had i seen earlier.

I wonder if it would cook faster if you placed the pizza between the plate setter and the stone. Or even replace the pizza stone with a baking steel... in theory the steel would radiate much more heat down onto the top of the pie than the ceramic dome.
