Not it sure why it’s showing up as a link, rather than a video.

Growing up, my neighbor's Dad was a nice man and funny too.  He was an electrician.  My neighbor was older than me and was my brother's fiend so I didn't hang with him a bunch.  I liked to spend time with his Dad.  He owned Chryslers that had a habit of needing a lot of attention, so he was under the hood quite a bit and I would stop by.  One day he had some Rolling Rocks because you can take the boy out of Penn, but you can't take the Penn out of the boy.  Anyway, I knew he was in WWII from my brother's friend.  That day he was oiled up he gave me a glimpse of the horror of war.  He was in the Navy in the Pacific aboard a cruiser I think.  Kamikaze attack!  It hit close to his battle station.  He made it without serious injury, but he knew fellas that were blown to bits.  After the fires were out, he said he found a curious little shoe on deck.  It was Japanese and still had a foot in it.

They flew my grandfather up to DC a few years ago for a ceremony @ the WWII memorial - incredible organization.
