Help with band and losing my upper egg

bdmoody
Posts: 1
I need some assistance. I have lost 2 upper egg half’s in 2 weeks. I tightened the band and I still lost it again tonight. Very frustrating. Do I need the new style band. Am I am not tightening it enough?
Any help is appreciated as I am obviously doing something wrong.
Thanks

Must not be tight enough. Tighten the band bolts until they bend/deform slightly. It’s a bit unnerving at first, but you won’t brwK the lid. You should be able to visibly see the bolt bend due to tightening. Sorry for you.
