Of your choices, I've become fond of the new Mustangs (old ones too of course).  I'd get the V6 ecoboost with manual transmission.  Sounds like you are favoring the Challenger and that's not a bad route either.  Good luck and let us know what you pull the trigger on.

Dang near indestructible, those things. We have had 2.

As for my pick, it would be a Plymouth Hemi Cuda. (a 71 if you can find one for under 80k hahaha. :lucky::joy:

  • I knew they are going to re-release the Cuda in like 20 or 21 but I think they are going to put a V6 in it according to my BIL.

    That's just not right.

I've never considered the 'vette a "muscle" car, but rather a pure sports car.  To me, a "muscle" car is mostly about the engine, and typically more a "blocky" body style, which can be used to haul small families and groceries.  A sports car is all about driving, and nothing else: motor, but also steering/tracking, feel, and braking (Corvette, Miata, 911).
Of course, this is just my opinion, but it should be yours too.

Cadillac quality sucks. Feel free to disagree. Pos in my experience. Never even close to German quality.
If I’m spending that money, it’s for a 2018 BMW 550. Faster than the last M5. Watch for these coming off lease in a few years.

Modern American, boy would I love a Stingray. I think that’s just a beautiful car.

    All hail the snake.
Dad's buddy invited me out to his compound, '67 GT500 KR, King Of The Road, 4 miles on the odometer.  White with blue racing stripes, saddle tan interior.  Some vehicles strike a nerve just standing next to them, angelic. Boss 427s did too, Grabbar Blue, one orange with a gator skin top.  426 Hemis were ok.  Not much styling, trim, boxy, but it's all about the motor with Dodge.

Then he showed me the Original Cobra.  Standing next to it when fired up, I wet myself.

We haven't even covered next level cars, way past the small block. Lol

New cars are not "muscle cars" IMHO.  Not even close.
