Yep. Confirmed.

But when you're sitting at DCA with a 4+ hour delay and you're hearing announcements like:

“All Phoenix passengers, the plane that you will take to Phoenix has been delayed. It was unable to land here due to weather and needs gas so it has been diverted to Cleveland. After it refuels and the weather clears we will let you know an estimated departure time.”

And

"Due to the delay of flight ___(number)___ to ___(didn't catch the city)___, nobody on this flight will make their connection. As a result we are voiding the tickets of anybody who has a connecting flight. Please form a line at the counter to receive a refund or rebook for another date."
