Ace'd It!!

Shelly and I were asked to cook at the new Ace Hardware Store in Celina TX for it's "ACE Biggest Grill Event Of The Year"

We had a blast! Sold a few Eggs and met a lot of great future EggHeads. =)

First up we did a cold smoke with Pecan on our ABT Deviled Eggs.
Then lit the XL and cooked a double batch of Scottie's Balls along with a stuffed breakfast fatty.
Next up were the Ultimate Fudge Brownies cooked in Mini Ice Cream Cones topped with a Caramel Rum sauce.
Finished with Grilled Pineapple Spears with a Caramel sauce.
Nice day cooking and remembering my friend LS.

    Looks fantastic!!!

    (And I may have missed a similar event at my local Ace hardware:  They sent me an email today about a "BBQ Fest -- Gather 'round the grill" that was today between 11 AM and 2 PM.  Trouble is, they didn't send the email till it was almost over!  The email came into my computer at 1:09 and I didn't notice it till 1:30, and it ended at 2:00!  <sigh>  Not sure who at Ace thought that was a really good idea...  I was very sorry to miss it.)

    Weren't they lucky to get you two out there!! I'm sure it was eggcellent. We need to plan another River Front BBQ!!

    One day when I'm not working so much I plan to get over to the Texas BBQ gathering

    Very nice . I'm sure it was a lot easier than cooking up 500 servings for an egg Fest. Brownies with rum does sound like something right up my alley.
