I am not in the mood to make homemade sauce tonight. Anyone have any good store bought pizza sauce recommendations?

“good store bought pizza sauce” is a contradiction in terms.

Yes, it is. But I am lazy today and don't wanna mess with spending 3 hours cooking pizza sauce. As long as there is 1 that is tolerable I'll try it out. Cause cooking pizza on the egg even with cheap sauce is better than any chain pizza place that I have around my house.

You can buy a basic one like contadina and just doctor it up to your liking.  Extra garlic, oregano, cracked pepper, balsamic, whatever.  make it to your taste.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

My pizza sauce recipe takes 5 minutes.

1 can of san marzano tomatoes
    1 tbsp salt
    1 tbsp olive oil

Drain some of the liquid from the tomato can.
Add the salt and olive oil
    Blend with wand blender.

ya this may be what I do. Maybe i'll add a little garlic in with it. I just don't want to have to let it simmer for 3-4 hours before using.

Mids. Family loves it. I made from scratch once and the troops revolted. Whatever. It’s good and one less thing to do.

This is what I use for home-made sauce all the time.  I add some garlic and chili flakes.  Super easy and good.

+1 . Lotsa garlic. Whatever seasonings you like. Whiz it all together. No need to simmer.

Google no cook pizza sauce and you'll get the idea.

I do the same thing.  Put this in a food processor w some Italian spices, fresh garlic, and a little bit of sugar.  Blend it not too well, and strain it thru a wire sieve.  It's best to leave it leave it overnight, but this works well as a pizza sauce.

I simmer garlic, fresh basil and fresh oregano in olive oil for about 5-10 minutes (don't burn the garlic) and then strain it through a cheesecloth.  Works great.

I caved. I went and looked at the store sauces and I just said to myself I can make it better for cheaper so no simmering but gonna use this. Gonna blend with sautéed garlic and red pepper flakes and olive oil. Salt to taste.

Welcome to the right side :)

and that sauce freezes well too. Either in ice cube trays then into ziplocks or vac sealed. Can also use those 8oz deli containers.

    Nice pie, btw.
