It lacks some distinction you will find in some fine bourbons, but along with Rittenhouse I find it a very good and inexpensive pour. Really good for cocktails. Cheers!JohnEggGio said:

@pgprescott that is a very nice pour. You orbit well above my sphere of influence or fuel budget. LOL! I am sure that I would be quite pleased to orbit in your sphere. I’ve admired it for some time now. Cheers!lousubcap said:@pgprescott that is a very nice pour. You orbit well above my sphere of influence or fuel budget. However, I have not had a free-lance Friday PM in several weeks. -

Being a Marylander, I’m intrigued, although I see it’s longtime been distilled in Kentucky. There’s a bit of a resurgence in interest in locally produced Maryland Rye, arguably led by Sagamore Rye (of Under Armor fame and bankroll).pgprescott said:

Brewery rep was in Hy Vee giving samples of her Ottawa, IL brewer Tangled Roots. Moved quickly through the lager(decent) and session and saison until I hit this great stuff. Brought home a couple of sixers and the obligatory Pseudo Sues.
