    I own many yeti products. No issues from the coolers to the ramblers I own. From here on out they will not get another penny from me. Their company is based on out door products. Not a good business move.

    2nd amendment's not going anywhere folks and will not be changed...

    There are to many "bad rifles" out there..its easy to "take away" peoples munitions when they really don't have munitions to take away..

    When the day comes when it is "illegal" for citizens to own guns; albeit "assault" or otherwise, AND the government tries to police that law...

    NRA, YETI, HOGG or all the other little idiots wont change the 2nd amendment.

    That being said, the "high efficiency" cooler market is saturated with "Yeti" knockoffs.

    Ozark Trail is back in Walmart, Engle and RTIC have obtained a large market share. So one DOES beg to question. Why the hell would a company silo themselves from one of their biggest market share demographics?

     


    The 2nd Amendment won't disappear but it is certainly more than likely in the coming decades that the SCOTUS will revise their interpretation of it in a manner that will give more weight to the first four words than the last four words of the amendment.

    The vast majority of the population already wants more gun control laws. The vast majority of young folks that are now or will soon become voters are not going to be "NRA friendly" which will eventually have great impact on the legislative makeup of statehouses and Congress.

    The demographics of gun ownership continues to change - fewer and fewer people are owning guns. Gun ownership in the US is concentrated in a very small percentage of folks - about half the guns in the US are owned by about 3% of folks. Only about 1/3 of folks own a gun of any type. As the percentage of folks that own guns continues to decline the political impact of pro-gun lobbyists will also diminish.

    It probably won't happen in my lifetime (I'm an old guy) but sooner or later the pendulum is going to start swinging the other way and will eventually smack the NRA upside the head.

    Pissing off their primary base (hunters, boaters, campers) - all Middle America pro-2A, pro-NRA is not the smartest decision. You don't see city-dwellers buying Yeti or any other sporting good.   This is not good for anyone.
