One of my cooking buddies passed away last night. She was a 1.5 year old chocolate lab. Went to let them out of their kennels this morning and she never came out. She had thrown up but couldn’t tell anything was wrong with her in the past few days. We don’t know if she was poisoned or had a aneurism or what. Our other dog hasn’t been eating the past few days but we will see what the vet says. RIP Darby you were a good sweet friend.

I hate to hear it brother.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

Sorry to hear the loss of your fur child.   Many great memories of a Chocolate Lab in my past...she was as close to human as I’ve seen & preferred her company over many people I’ve met.

Sorry for your loss.   Labs are great dog, pets, companions.

I am a big time dog lover.   My sheltie is about 11.5 years old and her back hips are giving out.  It breaks my heart, but at least I still have her.

Terrible.  Sorry to hear it.  Just went thru this with our one year old Bernese mountain dog. exact same thing you described. Throwing up.  Wouldn't eat for two days.  Took him to emergency vet.  X-rays showed something. Vet needed about 5 grand for surgery and one that had no guarantees.

We made the hard decision to put him down.

    I feel your pain.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I have a long list of people I'd rather see go before a good dog.
