I stumbled upon a life-changing spicy italian sausage at my local butcher last week. I bought four pounds of sausage, about 16 total, to make pizza and to freeze for later. The pizza was easily my favorite one I've made and that led to me want to us up the rest of the first pack which I did in sausage and peppers. Considering how good this stuff is, I'm looking for other recipe suggestions and cooking ideas.
When I made the sausage and peppers I did the peppers first right on the grid for some color, then in a cast iron skillet to further brown. After they got a nice color, I sliced them, returned them to the pan with wine, herbs, onions, and peppers, and then covered them to absorb the wine and flavors.
Other ideas on how to cook and eat these spicy italian sausages?
Thanks.

I cook them with peppers for Italian Sandwiches , use them in Jalapeno Poppers , salad toppings , bacon bombs--there is no wrong way. I might suggest you make your own as it is quite easy and a great outcomeVisalia, Ca @lkapigian

Lasagna is better with spicy Italian sausage instead of ground beef - or 50/50.
