has anyone had this situation happen?

Background: We live in the northern suburbs of Dallas. XL bought in 2011. We got a new table/cabinet for it last year. It sits on our porch uncovered. I just bought a done cover for it yesterday. I need to get a cover that covers the entire table, as well.

We haven’t used the Egg very often over the last several months and have had a substantial number of days this past winter. Opened it up this week, and there was a bunch of mold inside. Decided to burn it off by heating up the Egg to 400+ to cook it off. And then we noticed this.

Any ideas?
