LOVE jerk!! Did you use store bought seasoning like Walkerswood or did you blend your own?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

No shame there. Walkerswood is my go to. My Jamaican friends swear it's the closest to authentic.
-
I have never had jerk chicken. Is that just the name of the seasoning?

I like WW mild because it has a lower sodium content. But I add a couple of chopped habaneros to it.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

And if you have the winning hand, annnnd wait around till the following weekend, @DoubleEgger might have you a mushroom ready. (Granted it's the damn best stuffed mushroom ever.)Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Authentic jerk is a marinade (wet rub). Everything from sweet fruity to fiery to mild. Allspice and fresh thyme would be the most common flavors across all.
