LOVE jerk!! Did you use store bought seasoning like Walkerswood or did you blend your own?

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

No shame there.  Walkerswood is my go to.  My Jamaican friends swear it's the closest to authentic.

I have never had jerk chicken. Is that just the name of the seasoning?

I’d be down to make this if that’s what y’all wanted.  I currently don’t know what to cook, so I’ll add it to the short list.

Are y’all still bringing that Large down for me?

I like WW mild because it has a lower sodium content. But I add a couple of chopped habaneros to it. =)

Authentic jerk is a marinade (wet rub). Everything from sweet fruity to fiery to mild. Allspice and fresh thyme would be the most common flavors across all.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
