Well we aren't that cold, but this is our puppies' first winter and snow and he loves rolling in it and grabbing mouthfuls of it! Sometimes when it is snowing really hard he stands at the patio doors and barks at it!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Reminds me of my Corgis' first winter. Alarm went off, I hit the snooze, and they both got up to go outside for their morning leak. I knew it had snowed as the room was pretty bright, and waited for them to come back in. And waited. Finally, I hear them bang bang come racing through the doggie door, and they both jumped on me (they weren't allowed on the bed but didn't care), soaking wet, ice cold, and super excited! Good times.RRP said:Well we aren't that cold, but this is our puppies' first winter and snow and he loves rolling in it and grabbing mouthfuls of it! My car wouldn't start at South Dakota State U at the beginning of one Christmas break. The apartment building lot had outlets for car heaters, but my Rustang didn't have one. I slid my toaster oven under the engine, opened the door, and plugged it in. Also filled a couple gallon jugs with hot water and set them in the engine compartment. Tried again that afternoon, engine started, and home for Christmas!fishlessman said:neighbor had a frozen gas line on one vehicle, backed a truck up to it and ran a downspout from the exhaust pipe under the frozen vehicle for heat to thaw the line, good luck with that.
Dad helped me install a block heater when I was home. It worked well at shattering my front grill when I forgot to unplug it before taking off, d'Oh!“I'll have what she's having."

It was a little warmer yesterday, my daughter actually went skiing at a local hill from 10:30 - 4:30, not very smart but she managed to stay warm enough.

If you live in cold weather climate, you'll get this: My former MIL (rip) used to say a cheap person "is tighter than snot on a sleeve." I'm not a cheap person, but I've endeavored to get pretty tight sometimes. Usually on Friday nights.Flint, Michigan
