I used to use the scraper that came with my Blackstone kit.

The problem was I usually burned my knuckles or scalded them with steam. Wilma found this on clearance. I've only used it once after some smash burgers the other day, but I think I like it.

What do you use to scrape your Blackstone? Thanks for looking.

There are way too many $$$ solutions out there looking for a problem. -
i use the rigid browne spatula similar to the dexter version. sharpened the edges better, smahes a burger easily, scrapes a griddle, could chop a tree down with it

this things solid and heavey, there is no flex in it at all. someone reaches over you're cutting board, it would easily remove fingers

+1 for that. It rakes the top of the firegrate nicely and fits inside the bottom of the XL perfect to shovel out all the ash. I don't even use my BGE ash tool anymore.Carhoch said:I use that Weber scraper to clean the ashes from the green egg

This would work if my Blackstone was still flat. I have the 17" and it warped. The steel cook top started to buckle, and the edges raised up about an inch during a cook. It was the strangest thing. I was able to weigh down the edges, and get back to semi flat, but there's still a dip in it. I figure one of the engineers can explain why that happened. Too hot? Uneven cooking?
I still use it! In fact, made some chicken Phillies tonight. It just doesn't scrape off as easily.LBGE since June 2012

I've been using hand trux, but I like your idea.

Silly Carey. Dogs tongues are not cookable. I have it on good authority that is where asbestos comes from.nolaegghead said:

bs sent me a replacement top that i still havent used but will if doing pancakes etc. the warped one i still use for burgers. the 17 top is thinner than the other cookers and the newer tops have a system of gussets band-aided to the bottomSaltySam said:This would work if my Blackstone was still flat.
