CAB vs Costco Briskets

Hey guys,
As our Costcos in Ga are now regularly stocking prime full packers, I've been able to get a lot more practice in. Recently I've also been trying some CAB Prime Briskets from a meat market (Pattons) whenever they go on sale for $3.99 a pound (between 50 cents to $1 more per pound than Costco).
It may be in my head, but I'm getting better beef flavor and seem to have a wider finish window with the CAB. Even the flat is juicy for me.
Has anyone else experienced this? I know the CAB is a bit of a marketing thing, but it's been hard to argue with the quality of these cuts.
Curious what you guys have seen...

The CAB prime (all other things being equal) should be a higher quality cut than the straight-up Costco prime. Your results support that, again factoring in all the cooking process variables. If you can get better quality at a good (to you) price then go for it.
I have not been able to find CAB prime cuts here so no direct comparison but whenever I go up or down a grade from prime the results speak for themselves. FWIW-
Edit: here's a lengthy but informative read:

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Thanks Lou - I agree. I see it as Costco Prime Briskets < CAB Prime Briskets < SRF Black Briskets. I'll pay the $1 more for the CAB to hold over between the SRFsMilton, GA

This is one of the areas where paying a little more from the local guy is the way to go IMO.Gittin' there...

Its the cook + the product = end results ...a lower product quality tests your skill sets . and one can still ruin a great product..have faith in youVisalia, Ca @lkapigian
