UNC Basketball tickets
I know it's a bit early but I was wondering if anyone is interested in UNC basketball tickets? I will have 4 tickets to each home game with the exception of NCSU and dook. I'm not sure of the price yet (they seem to go up each year) but last season they ranged anywhere from $30 to $117 a ticket. That's face value no scalping here. SEC. 204 Row G.

No joke. There were a couple of aspects of that story that aren't very well known but are pretty astonishing:northGAcock said:

1) about half or so of the students enrolled were non-athletes. That's right. Lots of people on campus were aware there were these fake courses you could take and get automatic A's. And so they signed up. Why should athletes be the only beneficiaries, right?
2) the head of an institute on *ethics* at UNC actively advised her student-athletes to sign up for the classes, knowing full well they were a sham. Incredible.
I have some good friends and colleagues over at UNC, mostly in math. They were mortified by all of this, even though they had no idea it was going on. Especially troubling to them is just how many faculty have to have known this was going on, and... looked the other way. Now they have "spot checks" that occur where random students/staff pop up to make sure that classes that are scheduled are legit being taught. Ok one last comment b4 my wife helps "makes" me go to bed. I had sweet 16 tix when (oh gawd I'm dating myself) Rodney Rodgers was playing for Wake Forest. The "big blue" while up a gazzilson were still wanting blood. I sold the final 8 tix to some guy that smelled like weed....LOL
