Ahi Tuna tonight

Marinated some tuna in soy, seseme oil and wasabi then covered with balckand white seseme seeds with ginge powder then seared in canola oil in the cast iron for a minute a side. Serves with wasabi and brussel sprouts. Thanks for looking.

I knew that was coming. I can't remember where this recipe is from, possibly Fine Cooking. I've played around with amping up the garlic, Thai chile, and subbing mirin for the sugar and rice vinegar. Depends on what flavors you like. Turns out best when all the ingredients are fresh (limes, garlic, ginger, chiles) not frozen/bottled.bgebrent said:
