Our friend who admired the MMX is heading back home tomorrow. A big send-off party tonight, when both Eggs will be in full swing with chicken thighs, sausages, roasted veg, smash burgers and a whole bunch of other stuff. But how to get people in the party mood? Well alcohol is the obvious answer, and to go with it a welcome bowl of over the top hickory smoked chili. I'm posting this now because later on there's zero chance I'll be sober enough to operate anything vaguely technical ... oh, for a good 48 hours.

Smoked after 2 hours ...
... and then after 4 hours:
Chopped up and in the sauce ... just about fits, now to simmer:
Library pic of it being served, in anticipation of being banned from using a camera later:
Thanks for looking!

Upon further review any type of cubed meat would work great too. I'm excited about this one.
