Double cut pork chops with DP Bayou-ish rub ... outstanding (with pics)

Took our new Bayouish rub for a spin last night. Rubbed some double cut pork chops, skin and fat removed, with the rub, cooked indirect at 275F until IT of 135F. Tented and foiled, raised MM to 550F, seared for 1 min each side. Served with tenderstem brocolli and honey glazed carrots with cumin and coriander. Outstandingly good rub for the pork. Next time I'd do 2 x single cut chops each though, to get more rub coverage.

Nicely done!! Thanks for sprinkling our stuff on your hard earned food. I agree with you on the thinner chops for more crust. Those look delicious though!! Cheers. Chris

Cheers folks. @Nature Boy it was once again SWMBO idea to do the singles next time
. Really impressed with Bayou-ish, may replace Tsunami Spin as our top rub.

@Stormbringer Much appreciate the kind words. No need to replace Tsunami though. We'll keep making it
Thanks again! Chris

Well it wouldn't replace it completely, especially as Bayou-ish isn't available in the UK yet. I picked this one up in the US.Nature Boy said:@Stormbringer Much appreciate the kind words. No need to replace Tsunami though. We'll keep making it

We are returning next year though, mainly for Yellowstone but also to re-stock.
