this guy/gal like to party hard and then fire up the egg with some of that royal oak. They might need more "sauce" though

I dont worry about finished temp. Pull when probe like buttah. Some foil once the bark is to their liking.

Nah, this was a couple of years ago and I didn't start one. No way I was going through that bs. No big deal. I only paid a couple hundred for it, plus 75 for the Akorn. The Akorn cooks just as well, burns very little lump, heats quickly and has a 14" grid, not 10. Sized between MM and Medium. Easier to control temp too. Cooked a couple of butts on it so far. Never tried a butt on the mini. It's already been to Mom's house twice, 400 miles away. Easy to transport in the backseat in a box. We'll see how long it lasts. Love it so far!blasting said:
