How do I post pictures?

What is the secret to posting pictures in chronological order? I have a post I want to make but clearly hitting the attach photo icon doesn't put it where the cursor is and I don't want to give away the ending by posting the end result first.
How do you make it work?

    It's aggravating to do it, put post each pic individually. If you select several pics at once, for some reason it post them by file size instead of actual order. It's a pain going back and forth when you have several pics, but it's the only way that I know of to post them in the order that want.

    To make sure they are in the order I want, I add them one at a time to a post.  I type the text I want first and then a couple of returns. I normally drag the photo to the location I want.  Like this:


    I make sure the cursor is located after the picture and add more text and then repeat the process:


     This seems to work.
