Love it!Wisconsin, lbge, MM, kab, pig tail flippers, bear claws, and more rubs than I will admit to.

Rockwood is one of the best lumps out there. There's a huge following on here. Very neutral and does not take long to get up to temp and burning clean.

I started using Rockwood after a friend begged me to switch from my old lump preference (didn't have a name it was the black strips you find on the interstate) I think he wasn't ok with the wire radial section of the lump. All joking aside Rockwood is excellent if you give it a chance.

I bought a bag, its in my rotation of lumps I use. Not stocked by me locally like others so I have to make a special case to go get it.XLBGE, LBGE, Charbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q2000, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.

You won't be disappointed. It's excellent. I don't have a desire to try anything else regardless of price point.

I just used it over the weekend for a couple of cooks. It burns great, very consistent temps. Smoke neutral is correct, you won't get much smoke flavor from the lump only so plan on using a lot more wood than you normally do. I'm thinking I might add chips for burgers and other grilled items.

It is a neutral burn. I like a little more smoke but my wife likes it better when I use Rockwood. And you know that saying... if mama ain't happy nobody's happy. So I use Rockwood and if I want a little more smoke I drop a chunk of hickory in it.Green Eggin' in South Carolina
