doing a little r & d today, anyone with experience doing these? Do you use water, pickle juice or a blend for best results?

When I made them I dumped the juice and just used water with the Kool-Aid. BTW I still have a jar that is nearing 1 year old. They still taste ok - just way more intense in flavor.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
