Get a copy of the Federalist Papers. Cost is minimal and you can see why our Constitution and government are structured the way they are.
To go into more detail, there is a nice little book titled "The Founders' Key" by Larry Arnn (also minimal cost) that delves into the connection between the Declaration and Constitution.
But wait, there's more!
One I like is "The Words We Live By" by Linda Monk. (Your annotated guide to the Constitution).
It's truly incredible how smart and far-seeing our Founders were. An amazing group of people and the more you read what they wrote the more you appreciate them.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning. -
