    Bear proof is dangerous.  If the bear can't get in the cooler then he will look for something else to eat - me!  I want the bear fat/drunk and happy.  Not angry and hungry.

    i guess no one here ever fed oreos to a bear in a remote campsite just before sundown =) the trick is good running shoes, you cant outrun the bear but if you can outrun the wife....

    I follow your logic, but you aren't accounting for the bears that get belligerent and angry when they drink.  Get a few beers in those bears and they'll eat you slowly, and then key your car.

    Yes, I bought YETIs. But I bought them brand new (pacakaging and tags included) from the classifieds and was able to register them; for prices approximating RTICs to boot!
