Little Steven, sorry I didn't see this till now. I bought the Benefit UK first press a couple of months ago. I realized that a lot of my Tull albums were on cassette that I don't have anymore. Well, timing its everything, I guess. But, thanks for the thought!Little Steven said:Thanks but no. My vinyl has all been given away except for one box that's been in an unheated shed for ten years. I think the British pressings I had are in there. Was going to give the Benefit to Dinah Mo Hum.D'you think I could interest you in a pair of zircon-encrusted tweezers?

One of my biggest regrets has not been keeping the 1000+ albums I had.Dinah_Moe_Humm said:

northGAcock, thank you for this post. I listened to Harry's Bar 3 or 4 times and really liked it. I found a rare vinyl copy of this and just bought it to add to my Tull Collection. Thanks again.northGAcock said:While we are talking Tull.....One of my favorites and a bit deeper into the deep tracks file.....Harry's Bar

Interesting you say that. Both my son (25) and my Son in Law (28 ish), have taken a likin to the old albums. They have both absconded some albums for their listening. I have no issue with this....in fact happy they are seeing new life if you will.Little Steven said:

When my grandfather passed away last year we acquired his turntable that had never been used. Gave me a good excuse to bust out the old vinyl albums that had been collecting dust in the basement. My kids (especially my 13yr old son) love them.northGAcock said:

You want a real blast from the past? Record Store Day (RSD) happens around April 20th, probably at a record store near you. When was the last time you flipped through vinyl LPs? There are new releases too, some are a limited number of pressings. Vinyl and audio transfer technology have really improved from the 80's. These new LP really sound good.D'you think I could interest you in a pair of zircon-encrusted tweezers?
