Maybe a different country of origin. If I remember correctly, a few (or several) years ago they had two red bags, one from here, and one from a South American country.

That green bag is labeled as made in US. They used to have their foreign lump in green. I think they provide different sizes and colored bags to different retailers.Southeast Florida - LBGE

And one time the blue bags were meant for the Canadian market. They were printed with both English and French.
Personally I have used all the colors and have never had an issue with Royal Oak.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
