Snapped this picture at our distributor's warehouse this week during the BGE dealer's meeting. That's a lot of Eggs......155 Large's just on that wall. XXL's on the left, going all the way down to MiniMax's on the far right.

Either someone has a great season in front of them or grossly over-forecast. But to someone without any skin in that game-quite a BGE sensory overload. Hope it's a record sales year.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I like it. However I do wish that it was a wall of BGE's cooking anus.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.

What, no BGE wall of Lump!!!

Good question. Thought the ceramics were Mexican, the bands and metal from offshore. I was lead to believe the assembly was all done in the USA. Maybe they are stocking up before the gates to the kingdom get nailed shut.flexfusion said:Where are they made?Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
Just reading the post title, I thought you meant pile of BGEs stopped at the border wall

Did someone say wall of lump?

No metal in those boxes. That box is the dome, base, fire ring, fire box, and rain cap. All the metal comes in a separate box......"assembly kit" -
What's the Donald have to say about all this?

Primo is the only one made in the USA exclusively. Ironically, by a Greek.

This was at a distributor.....they supply a couple hundred BGE dealers. Those will be gone in no time. Hell, 26 of them went home with me.

stlcharcoal, do you have another business site besides rockwoodcharcoal.com since you obviously sell many products other than your Rockwood? On your charcoal site, I see no mention of all these other products.

No, different region. There are a few that intersect in central IL, then as soon as you cross into MO, it's a different one.RRP said:

No, not yet, at least. We have a little retail store inside of our new warehouse and that's where those BGE's are going. In order to approve the business license, the city wanted retail because of the zoning (hmmmm, sales tax money?) It's not anything with set hours or looking for walk-in traffic......more of a place for fulfillment of bulk supply for competition teams. A lot of our dealers are BBQ supply, so the last thing we want to do is compete with them--the shop is very low key. BGEs and Eggessories, Smokeware, Innovations by Chance, FlameBoss, BBQ Dragons, Stump Chunks, GrillGrates, Dizzy Pig Spices, ThermaPens, smoking woods, and a bunch of local rubs and sauces (Uncle Bob's, Code 3, Cole's, Millie's, Sticky Pig, etc.) It's a fun place for me to showcase all my favorite stuff--I feel like Oprah.FarmerTom said:stlcharcoal, do you have another business site besides rockwoodcharcoal.com since you obviously sell many products other than your Rockwood? OK, makes sense now. On various posts, I have seen someone mention contacting you for different products, but nowhere on your site had I been able to find that you sold those products. So, would one call for availability and pricing?stlcharcoal said:

Actually, there's a half empty box up on the mezzanine above the office & showroom. Bought it to see what all the hype was about, and quickly realized why it was 75% off. -
Skiddymaker, actually all the metal pieces and nests are made in Wisconsin not offshore.... just an FYI...
Side mates are also Wisconsin made! Remember that grilling is more than preparing food… It’s time with family and friends, it’s your heritage and childhood memories…. -
Ceramics are made in Monterrey Mexico by a very American company that happens to have a global manufacturing presence.

If memory serves, didn't BGE move production down there before NAFTA started? That was 1994 and the clay ones stopped before that, right? -
