I Have a Confession to Make.....

It's confession time friends. I went to the local Ace Hardware store and looked at Joe Jr's today. I can save about $100.00 if I go with the Jr. However, I must say that I have been so happy with my large BGE that the price difference doesn't concern me. Loyal supporter I suppose. I will purchase the minimax in a few weeks for camping and tailgating.

It's called drinkin' the Kool-Aid. Many of us are guilty of the same.
Having said that, I convinced 2 friends to buy KJ's because they were more interested in vaue for money..

I sold my jr to get the mini max and wish I had the jr back. I would get the jr even if they were the same price.

The design is better. Think you buy a large egg then get the woo to create raised cooking but then you buy a MM where you are cooking right over the heat it doesn't make a lot of sense. There have been multiple posts here about people not really happy with the MM. maybe look into the small egg if you want to stay green.

my price difference is around $300, makes my decision a little easier. My firebox cracked in my joe jr and had a replacement within in a week, it was pretty slick.

A thread hi-jack question here... @reload , how's that 540i working out??Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Good point, it took me 4 months to get replacement parts for my egg. Although I'm very happy that I have the ability to get lifetime warranty, I like KJ model for replacement.Miked125 said:my price difference is around $300, makes my decision a little easier. I just wish they still made the Jr in black.

I was hoping that your confession would be that you have been secretly cooking and enjoying anus for years. Oh well, maybe next time.reload said:It's confession time friends.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

More than once, my cook has tasted like sh|t. So maybe I had unknowingly been given anus.

My Joe Jr. is a perfect complement to my Large Egg. The Junior is great, and it comes with everything you need to cook direct or indirect.
