SV Pork Chop and Sides

Cooked a butterflied 3.5 inch poke chop with SV at 145 for an hour and 15. My much better half likes her Pork medium. In the pouch with S & P, garlic powder, fresh thyme and rosemary.


Seared the chop on the egg in CI pan with crushed garlic, rosemary and butter.


Best chop we've had in a good while. Cheers.

Overnight SV at 165, then a hit on the grill.
Bag juices reduced and mixed with a little more char siu sauce.
Damn these are awesome. Looking forward to eating these for the game. Going to serve them on kings hawaiian rolls, with pickled Granny Smith apples.
