What kinda lump? What temp? What was the IT when you pulled them? Was the mustard refrigerated or room temp?

Nice plated pic. Xtra points for the fork.

Some questions:
What kind of casing?
Is there any mechanically separated meat in it? Can you tell the difference?
What smoke did you use?
Is that a cast iron grate?
Did you apply a rub? If so, which?
What kind of buns did you use?
Do you ever put ketchup or relish on them?
How many did you eat?
What was the temp outside?
What kind of knife if that?
What lump did you use?
Did you close the lid when you cooked them?
Sorry if some of these questions are redundant.
Thanks in advance.

This is pretty funny.
Hope the yellow mustard was part of the joke because that's just nasty on a hot dog.Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

I happen to enjoy a good hotdog on the BGE. Simple and fast.
Maybe if you had cooked them on a blackstone the responses would be more positive.

Do I sense a mustard war tonight? Mustard and hots dogs-can't get much better than that. @HofstraJet - and a better hot dog lubricant than mustard is??Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Spicy brown mustard, not that generic yellow stuff we use on brisket and ribs to make the rub stick. Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

That was an obscure reference to one guy on the forum that said to someone he disagreed with about some food post...I think it had to do with the rub on a butt.epcotisbest said:

Ketchup on a hot dog is, as stated above, blasphemy, no matter how good it looks:

If someone put ketchup on your hotdog, a hotdog you bought and paid for with your own money, prepared yourself and was getting ready to eat, yeah, you would have a reason to be upset.thetrim said:@nolaegghead may have some jacked up political views, but I am equally pi$$ed when I see ketchup on a hotdawg!!!
If someone put ketchup on their own hotdog, a hotdog they bought and paid for with their own money, prepared themselves, they can put any damn thing they want on it and it is no one else's business.
Just messing with you...I don't really care either way. -

I'd be willing to bet more than a few brands of hot dog have anus in them already.SGH said:
