    I once heard comedian Dave Attell say the main ingredient in Egg Nogg is elf c*m . Never looked at it the same since.  =)

    Dude, awesome plate.
    Too bad @GATraveller you let an idiot comedian sway your judgement. Home made Egg nog is honey from the Gods. This I assure you.
    I will have to try this recipe.

    @WeberWho, @Photo Egg, @bgebrent, @SciAggie, @caliking, @Battleborn,
    Thanks for the kind words.  The bourbon brought some much needed warmth to the table.

    Thanks buddy.
    I forgot to add a heaping T of brown sugar to the original post above.
    And 1/8C of bourbon may tone things down with the syrup if you prefer, which I think is 2T???
    I just kind of half-a$$ed winged it, added a third egg to get the consistency right.
    You could go heavier with the cinnamon and nutmeg, 1/4t ea.  I thought there was enough with the eggnog, so I held back.

    No worries.  I used to drink it - as a matter of fact....it was the only thing that made some of the in-laws Christmas gatherings bearable  =)
    The only reason I don't anymore is because I'm 9 yrs sober. I just think of and laugh about that joke every time I see Egg Nog.

    @Focker - this looks awesome and I'd eat it.....all of it without reservation.  Thanks for sharing.
