    Slice into 3/8" by 3/8" strips.  Dip in seasoned to taste flower, dredge in eggwash, re-dip, then fry in oil for ~5 minutes.   :)

    Ok, I'll fess up.  These were cheap top round steak (great way to cook cheap cuts).  Was supposed to smoke an SRF brisket today, but my Friday delivery never came.

    UPS is on my naughty list :angry:

    Sorry to hear about that delivery.  We're dealing with multiple UPS issues right now, they had a tough last week.  I promise that we'll make it right with you and make sure you're taken care of as a SRF customer.

    Sad to report, I received 2 beautiful briskets, fully thawed and pushing 50 degs :bawling:

    Thank you UPS.  2 day delivery took 5 days.  Surprise!  Its the holiday season. Someone should really let UPS know Christmas is every year.

    Last week was the start of the holiday peak season.  Many centers could not handle the increase in volume.  There were drivers out past 10pm.  Not trying to make an excuse but one can only deliver so many packages in a 14hr period.

    I agree.  Solution?  Hire more drivers or do not accept packages you cannot deliver.

    Sounds like you need two replacement briskets to me. Glad I postponed my delivery until this Friday.
