I'm sorry that I kept calling you "Achoo" that one time, at Brisket Camp.caliking said:Thanks for the kind words, folks. Ended up having to go in to work in the afternoon, so just got a chance to catch up.

Now that's funny! And you were close - its Ashish, but I have been called worseAsheesh, (I hope I have the correct spelling) I can't believe you waited so long for a "caveman cook", they look wonderful! I do this regularly. The first time I tried this Sandy brought home about 70 bucks worth of steak and I threw them on the coals...she about sh*t!

I hadn't put much thought into it, but I see what you mean. An even bed if coals would probably be helpful if doing multiple steaks too.Judy Mayberry said:OMG that is beautiful (girl adjective)! The great big flat piece of charcoal is the PERFECT piece for caveman style. I've never found a piece like that...the biggest problem is making a flat and continuous bed of coals to put the steak on. Very, VERY cool!!! And pretty ballsy in Durham. I suppose a number of people there would take offense to the word "caveman". Maybe you could use "Chronologically Challenged"?
Of all the lies I tell, "Just kidding" is my favorite.
