Passing the Torch


Well my son has got the Egg fever and bought his first BGE last week. His first cook was a couple of butts this past weekend. Love that smell and white smoke!!

    So far in the two plus months I have had my Egg, I know of 4 people I have now directly influenced getting an egg for themselves. The taste bud is a very powerful weapon!!

    Nice...yep my 7 year old loves the Cookers and food I put out. I think the kids pick up on the joy we have cooking and food it produces that they naturally know it's a good thing and brings dad pride.

    That's Awesome @JohnnyTarheel, my son is only 7 and I am still trying to get him to be interested.  Maybe I will get him to help put on the rub when I do something big again.  He doesn't seem to be that interested.  It is nice to pass down things to your kids that others can enjoy as well.

    Very nice. Now buy a "Handler" for Christmas for that Large. Very safe insurance for moving that puppy. 
    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.
