Well my son has got the Egg fever and bought his first BGE last week. His first cook was a couple of butts this past weekend. Love that smell and white smoke!!

Thanks guys!!!! I wish I was his age when I got my first Egg. He and his family will enjoy for many years to come. He has called me numerous times the past week with questions and ideas for cooks he wants to do.
The great part the last two years that I have have had my egg is that my grandson has been so involved at my house always wanting to cook on the egg. He has rubbed many a butt and took that first bite coming off the grill. Here is my grandson a couple weeks ago making pig candy at my house. He helped talk his Dad in to getting one.

Nice...yep my 7 year old loves the Cookers and food I put out. I think the kids pick up on the joy we have cooking and food it produces that they naturally know it's a good thing and brings dad pride.
kudos!!!Seattle, WA -
That's Awesome @JohnnyTarheel, my son is only 7 and I am still trying to get him to be interested. Maybe I will get him to help put on the rub when I do something big again. He doesn't seem to be that interested. It is nice to pass down things to your kids that others can enjoy as well.
