Looking great, I'm at in-laws waiting on 24 pound turkey to get done in the oven.  I made rolls.  I need more bourbon now.

    That turkey looks great.

@Ladeback69, the sad part is that the turkey was probably done an hour ago. They just don't know it.

Actually when my father in law cut one side of the breast off it was still a little pink next to the bone.  They did it in the oven with the turkey in the bag.  They put it in at 1 around 350, I said that at 325 it was going to take 6 hours.  At 4:30 he turned the oven up to 450.  It was good, but I would have put it in no later noon.  That wanted dinner at 5, I said to my wife on the way over it would be 6 she said 5:30 and was right.

i too am thankful for the knowledge gleened here. My thanksgiving dinner was done mainly by things learned here; fatty rotel dip by thatgrimguy, best ever potatoes au grautin by nolaegghead, and cajun turkey recipe from yukonron. It was all fantastic. Oh the rv works 6 gallon fryer was also purchased based on what people have said here. This is a great place to learn from. Thanks to all.
