Well...nervous with excitement, anticipation, and dread.
Never cooked a whole packer brisket before so of course I do the "smart" thing and buy a SRF premium priced brisket for my first attempt.
On the other hand, we get a "backup brisket" with this deal so it's all good.

I moved the delivery date out 2 weeks so she has time to forget about the pizza oven I just bought. Hard to not do it at a little over $5 a lb.

I just received the post-turkey hang-over SRF brisket (to be cooked and consumed on 11/27) yesterday. And today, this deal...I pushed the delivery out to mid December as I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to hide behind something in the next few weeks. Yeah, I just dipped my toe in the water and ordered some steaks for the wife and I’s 10th anniversary next week. Some of you guys are jumping in the deep end! Enjoy!
I’ve been wanting to order from SRF for a while now and this offer comes at the perfect time. We will be eating a good meal for our anniversary and then some.
