Fellows I have several pounds of both goat and hog testicles soaking out in ice water. Is there any particular way that anyone would like to see them prepped and cooked? I will be more than glad to cook them anyway that anyone would like to see them done. If not, I will simply shave them and deep fry them.
May even deep fry and smoke a few at brisket camp. Any requests?

Never had a Rocky Mountain oyster or any type of gonad for that matter. I'd venture fried is the best way?“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

In my humble opinion, yes, deep fried is best. However there are folks who like them in a stew or some sort of gravy dish. While they are certainly good that way, the actual taste is lost to the stew base or gravy.Hans61 said:I'd venture fried is the best way?Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Goat nut sashimi with a little fresh ginger and wasabi

You know, I have a pretty high tolerance for foods that don't fall into the norm or traditional. However I must confess, that's a tad beyond my tolerance my friend.Biggreenpharmacist said:TartareLocation- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Fried for sure my friend - I've eated a pile of them over the years. Back in the day when we were marking calves (with a good sharp knife of course) we would slap them right on the branding box (the pipe heater we used to heat the branding irons). When the nuts would cook they would bust open - then we'd just eat 'em fresh out of the membrane. That said, I'd rather clean them and maybe split 'em depending on how big they are then deep fry them.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I gotta say, I'll eat a lot of stuff people turn there nose up to, but I'm not sure I could knowingly eat nuts. I'll be following this for sure.

Would love to see them eaten raw. Pics please.
Also, a dessert featuring these please.

This is excellent, especially since they contain their own sauce.Biggreenpharmacist said:Tartare -

I would love to take some off your hands but I have no idea how to fill out the customs documents. Swine jewels? Goatnads? Porker beans? I'm just over in Birmingham if we can figure this out.SGH said:Fellows I have several pounds of both goat and hog testicles soaking out in ice water. I have never shipped meat out of the country so I don't know what's involved. However I will look into it and see if it's practical. If it is, I can literally cover you with nuts. I will gladly ship you all that want brother Little.Little Steven said:
