Rainy Father's Day made brighter - Grandson won the Kid's Q

Last Saturday my grandson won first place in the Kids Q at the Canadian Festival of Chili and BBQ in Langley BC. Proud of the little guy, he is taking after his Daddy who is a "pit ****" on the Fahrenheit 250º competitive BBQ team. The kids were given two proteins, farmer's sausage and chicken tenders (fillets). They do it themselves with adult supervision when moving food on and off the smokers, the team uses  uses WSMs.

    The "kid" did better than the team, they did place first in pork and about 8th overall. The grand bambino did very well, he selected the herbs for the cream cheese and Pawpaw suggested the quantities. The bullets still turn out some great grub.
