No money shots? Gonna do one this weekend.......more traditional approach. The Ro/jo tisseri intreges me......but I love the sear roast plan. Interested in more pics though.smbishop said:Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

Looks great.
I see the rotisserie as just a method of cooking or a preference. Not really necessary. Kind of like a temp controller. I'll stick to reverse sear. Good luck @northGAcockJoe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Looks really good. Love Tri-tip. I assume that isn't your first Tri-tip. Curious as to how it compares to others you have made without the rotisserie.

Yep, the rotisserie is fun, I had never used one before 'the egg', so just experimenting. Sorry about no after shots... The flavor from the marinade was fantastic!Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.
