had a buddy come through from New Orleans. Brought me a care package. Last night i cooked some pompano for first time. Only got one shot of those. They came out pretty good. Tonight I shucked some oysters and grilled them and cooked some bbq shrimp in cast iron skillet. No plated pics as we ate out of the pans like starved dogs. Now I'm miserable.

Brother, it just doesn't get much better than that. Outstanding looking grub. It's no secret that shrimp and oysters are two of my personal favorites. This post easily earns and deserves the double seal of approval.

WOW! You would pay through the nose for that spread In a restaurant. That looks fabulous. Three of my favorite things and you absolutely killed it.Narcoossee, FL

I more or less winged the shrimp. I just tossed the with olive oil and the tony chachere's seasing and sauteed them until "almost done". Then melted a stick of butter and stirred in a little olive oil and some minced garlic, worcestershire sauce, old bay, salt, and lime juice. Got that to a simmer then poured over the shrip and let cook for another minute and spooned onto a plate and topped with chopped parsley. Sopped up the "juice" out of my cast iron pan with bread. That was as good to me as the shrimp.
