    The Iran deal removed sanctions and Iran is flooding the market with oil. They refused to cap production rates recently in Doha.

    Why is the price of oil low?  Economics.  There's no one person that you can blame or applaud (depending on if you're in the industry or not) the low price of oil. 

    This is a pretty quick read and explains, from a high level, generally what's going on.

    bit a lotta peeps tink he do. They get pissed at presidents when it's high. So ot must be his magic wand that made it crash too

    except now that it ceashed we're losing jobs in the industry and oil companies are going bankrupt. So that's probably his fault too

    being facetious. Just trying to work out how high the price of oil has to be for folks to not be mad at the president, while still high enough for them not to be mad their industry isn't making a killing
