Pizza on the small egg

Fired up the Small egg tonight and cooked several pizzas that turned out amazing as normal except for the small overlap of ingredients/crust on this pie. Fresh made dough from a local small pizzeria topped with Meat Church Honey Hog on the crust makes it have just a hint of sweetness. It didn't last long at all once it was sliced up lol

For some reason I never thought about using my small for pizza. Sure would be easier to keep under control than the XL and it's huge firebox. I'm going to have to pick up a 2nd stone for my small.Sdfd504 said:Thanks I'm loving the small egg for the pizzas. Looks awesome. What size stone are you using on the small?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I am using the Medium BGE brand stone I believe it is. Legs down with the plate setter then placing 4 1" nuts on top of the PS with the stone on top of them in order to have an air gap. Works perfect everytime!SmokeyPitt said:Looks awesome. What size stone are you using on the small? -
