Big, bad and bold, but do you really need it, Doug? I know there are miles between need and want? Maybe @badinfluence will jump in here and answer your questions. BTW get that well pump all operational again?

@RRP....need? Never....did get the well up and running.  Finished back filling the ditch on Saturday.
One thing I am wondering about the XXL....will it hold a 40 pound bag of chunk?

Reminds me years ago we bought a huge single piece wall unit as they were called in the 80's. It had a secretary area with pull down writing area, shelves galore plus a place for our TV. We were both working then and a neighbor let the delivery men in. I had told the neighbor where we wanted it placed, but somehow someway instead they just put it down in the middle of the room. I got home and was pissed when I found it there. No way could we ever budge that thing! I called the sales gal to complain and she said "no worry - I'll come out and move it in place for you, by myself!" Knowing she was a 110 pound bimbo that smart @ss answer pissed me off and I replied with some salty language that started with no thanks, b*tch. That week end I rented a panio mover and my wife and I were able to put it in place. Though we had spent $30K at that store previously we ever spent another penny!

I have a 300 gallon glass aquarium. Right now it is sitting in my shed. When it was set up in AZ, Garnet, the friend that set it up, came with these gigantic suction cups. Took 4 of us to get it in the house. Think the tank alone weighs 550 pounds. Not fun.
  • I would love to have one

It is big. It is heavy. Yes it will hold a 40 lbs bag of lump pretty easy. If my base cracks it is under warranty. My local dealer delivered it to me still on the pallet. It came in like 3 or 4 different boxes and he and 1 helper built it on sight in about 1 hour. Now mind you Dave and Shane are pretty big both of them and I mean in strong wise big! I just sat there taking pictures...lol. The plate setter alone is prob. around 60lbs itself. Do I regret buying it. Nope! Would I buy it again today? NOPE! I say that because I never use it, but sure does look pretty just sitting there...lol.

Sooooo... In the span of 2 days, you go from "Not Real Thrilled" to being in love with a XXL and wanting to buy your wife an egg. Man you've been on an emotional roller coaster.
Perhaps you need to go reread my comment....not happy with the previous dealer...had absolutely nothing to do with the Egg...

No, I don't,  and sorry for your condition.  I was merely referencing your series of posts you strung together. Not really being a forum policeman,  but just appears to be a post count enhancer.

    Carry on!

Dealer I saw it at had a little card on it saying that 1000 were made. Gotta wonder how many were sold? My old dealer never even seen one never mind had one.

The whole hog was at the Sunshine State Egg Fest put on by Wassai's Meat's out of Melbourne, I think.  Was over at Cape Canaveral.  Had a couple of friends there this year.  Need to get there!

Perhaps you should reread your own post. The first line you wrote reads "...with the quality of the Egg ceramics"

    Just saying...

XXL was the first egg I wanted. My dealer talked me off the edge, tried to sell me a large which they had on sale because of overstock, I bought the XL instead. Never regretted it, greatest grill, ever bought by me.
