2nd base I've had Crack... Ps also. Last time my dealer took care of it that day. Bring in and swap. They keep the damaged pieces. I'm a little disappointed in the longevity of the ceramics. It's in a nest with a handler...never rolled over 10 feet.
It'll cook but still have to disassemble, take to Nashville and reassemble. Tough way to get a new gasket.
Occasionally be sure to check beneath the vent and across the bottom.

That sucks. My dealer didn't ask for the broken base when mine cracked a year or two ago. Just a copy of the receipt and pics of the cracked base.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Yep...that is a PITA. From the picture it doesn't look too bad though. If it doesn't go all the way through I wouldn't be in a hurry. Call your dealer and say you want it replaced with pics as evidence...replace at your leisure.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Mine too. Don't look too hard, so you'll keep on cooking. Most eggs crack. Doesn't mean they're gonna fail. When the do, put out the deck fire and get a replacement. I'm being sarcastic. There's ample warning after they fail.
