There is way too much love on the @SGH thread, so I had to thin it out a little. I kid, I kid...
I don't really hate y'all, but sometimes my wallet does. I had my egg for about 3 years before I found this forum, and thought that cooking with the stock "stuff" that I got with the egg was the end all be all. Then, low and behold, I was introduced to Ceramic Grill Store. Cha-ching! Then a DigiQ. Cha-ching! Then a Thermapen. Cha-ching! Smokeware cap, etc.... Cha-ching. Cha-ching, cha-ching.
The newest is an Anova sous vide set up. Just ordered it from Amazon. I'm planning on using it to cook a rib roast on Easter. I'll start a second post asking questions on the best way to do it. Just needed to vent a little. ;)

Sous vide, multiple eggs, CGS stuff for every egg, Smokeware, thermometers, pit controllers, thermapen, thermapop, cast iron, knives, brisket knives, expensive lump, exotic smoke woods, special gaskets, SRF meat, Blackstone griddle, dutch oven, wok, wok ring, oak ridge rubs, dizzy pig  .... this is the most expensive website ever.

Didn't even know 90% of that stuff existed.   I keep hoping the purchases taper off.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

One of the things I love about this forum is that right when I think I have all the Eggcesseries that I need, something else comes along like that new rotisserie thing-a-ma-gig...

Just wait - I'm getting ready to pour a slab and build a covered outdoor kitchen. Then give Lone Star Grillz a call...

STFU. I am dropping 40k on my kitchen because of my BGEs. And I am buying another BGE and I am going to build an outdoor kitchen too. This Shti is genocide on my retirement, so really, tell me more about you woo2 and a ceramic stone.
Dude, just joking. I am spending what I said, just laughing at those like me that are so OCD!
    Have fun!

Wait until you start attending five or six Eggfests a year and hosting Egghead Parties, and your entire wardrobe is BGE Green, and you answer to and love being called "Egghead."  Oh, and don't forget that you will need a better camera, have to learn how to make simple movies to post on YouTube and set up a blog site that you will gladly keep updated for all your family, friends and fellow Eggheads.  You will need a place to store enough lump to last you through the winter and you'll need to build an outdoor kitchen to make your hobby even better.  Then there are all those "must have" EGGcessories to deal with.  You will definitely need a larger, faster computer to store all your recipes and photos, both good and bad.  And finally, you will spend more time talking to your doctors about the Big Green Egg than you do about your health.

    Yep! Been there, Done that...
